Dell sells enterprise hardware, including PowerEdge servers, PowerStore and other storage, and commercial PCs and workstations, priced from list with negotiated discounts that depend on volume and the customer relationship. Support is priced separately through ProSupport tiers, usually for multiple years.
APEX is Dell's as-a-service alternative: hardware, software and support delivered as a subscription, billed on committed or used capacity over a multi-year term.
Dell's fiscal year ends on the Friday nearest January 31, and its fourth quarter runs from November to January.
Dell raises prices on commercial laptops, desktops, monitors and AI-equipped products from December 17, 2025, with some configurations up 10% to 30%, citing surging memory and storage costs.
Dell also raises server pricing as DRAM costs climb.
Memory and storage prices stay elevated through 2026, with some configurations harder to order and longer lead times on AI systems.
