DELL PRICE INCREASES

Memory costs moved Dell's prices. The discount is still negotiated.

Surging DRAM and storage costs pushed Dell's list prices up from December 2025. What a customer pays is still set against those prices in negotiation.

What changed

  1. Dec 2025

    Commercial PCs

Dell raised prices on commercial laptops, desktops, monitors and AI-equipped products from December 17, 2025, with some configurations up 10% to 30%, citing surging memory and storage costs.

  2. Dec 2025

    Servers

Dell also raised server pricing as DRAM costs climbed.

  3. 2026

    Continued pressure

Memory and storage prices stayed elevated through 2026, with some configurations harder to order and longer lead times on AI systems.

What it means for buyers

Component-driven increases raise the list price, but enterprise hardware is still bought against negotiated discounts. Quote validity, lead times and how a refresh is scoped all matter more when prices are moving.
