SALESFORCE EDITIONS

Enterprise and Unlimited are gone for new buyers.

Core, Advanced and Max bundle AI credits, Slack, Tableau Next and support into higher list prices. Whether that is good value depends on what you already own.

What changed

On September 3, 2026, Salesforce introduced new editions for Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Service. Core, at $195 per user per month, replaces Enterprise at $175. Advanced, at $395, replaces Unlimited at $350. Max stays at $550, the price of Agentforce 1, which it replaces.

Each edition bundles Agentforce AI with a yearly allocation of Flex Credits per org, Slack, Tableau Next and data security features, with Premier Success included at the higher tiers. Max carries 2.75 million Flex Credits a year, almost three times the allocation that came with Agentforce 1. Starter and Pro Suite are unchanged, and new Industry edition pricing is due later in the fall.

What it means for existing customers

Existing customers keep their legacy pricing. New purchases, added products and renewals may be quoted on the new structure, and Salesforce offers Agentforce 1 customers an upgrade to Max at no extra cost.

Salesforce positions Core as offering around 70% more value than Enterprise. That value only exists if the business uses the Slack, Tableau Next, support and credits inside the bundle. For a company that already pays for Slack, part of the higher price buys something it owns.

What it means at renewal

For existing customers, staying on a legacy edition and moving to Core, Advanced or Max are both options. Which is better depends on what the business already owns and will actually use, not on the value Salesforce attaches to the bundle.

Frequently asked questions

What are Salesforce Core, Advanced and Max?

The editions Salesforce introduced on September 3, 2026 for Agentforce Sales and Service. Core is $195, Advanced $395 and Max $550 per user per month, each bundling AI credits, Slack, Tableau Next and other features.

Can we still buy Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited?

Not as a new buyer. Existing customers keep legacy pricing on their current contracts.

Is the new Salesforce Core edition worth it?

It depends on whether the business will use what is bundled. For companies already paying for Slack or not planning to use Tableau Next, the higher price buys less than Salesforce's value claims suggest.
